WELCOME

We are the folks behind the scenes of Hudson Wrestling. Though often referred to as the "wrestling club," there are no fees & no mandatory attendance policies. Incorporated as a non-profit organization, Hudson Wrestling, Inc., does its best to do what the original members wanted... to serve as an aid to the High School wrestling program and to teach & support the younger wrestling programs so that our wrestlers remain competitive with other communities. The club provides needed communication for all ages using flyers, newspaper spots, emails, phone calls & the Near Fall News newsletter. In the twenty-five years with a wrestling club, new mats have been purchased and warm-ups have been embroidered. We pay for the High School coach bus upgrades for the long, cold rides home whenever the trip is more than one hour. We provide jump ropes, duffle bags and other miscellaneous items. We provide the quality coaching staff that has made our youth and Xtreme team what it is today. We have youth come from other towns to join in Hudson's youth program. The club sponsors a great youth tournament as well as hosting its second annual Middle School tournament this past December. The club provides youth singlets as well as the Xtreme team warm-ups and singlets.

Though the club does a wonderful job helping the Hudson wrestling program, it would go nowhere without the core of volunteers who gladly give up their time, talents & energy to help the young men & women in the wrestling programs. All the volunteers work in every area of Hudson wrestling, but most find an area where they can really excel. If you would like to help or offer suggestions or if you have a talent that we could utilize, stop by one of our meetings. Everyone is welcome to attend. We meet the 1st Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in the back room of the Sports Bar in downtown Hudson. We truly have a lot of fun & feel the rewards of helping & mentoring the young people of Hudson.
